The only thing we want is
to be lost inside of beauty
for our souls to feel safe in silence
for something sure
to know the way the water moves
the path of sunlight fading
the mysteries the wind shares
to enjoy now
to see people as people
yet see the divine in their eyes
to tie up these simple words
and portray all the good in the world
we still strive for “impossibilities”
we still attempt cold harsh mountains
unaware of flowers hidden
in the shadows of the valley
the only thing we find
is what we are already looking for
